GetMeOut was a concept created for UCL Hackathon where the theme was to create an application for students to make some aspect of student life easier. GetMeOut makes it extremely easy for students to plan social events on a budget. Enter a budget, specify time frame and let the app do the rest. GetMeOut will show events that are within your budget including transport to and from the venue/location, and allow you to share the plan with friends.

Calendar view shows upcoming events that you've registered to attend, whilst push notifications collect feedback from event goers and provide updates.

The concept screens and ui mockups ultimately proved pivotal in enabling the concept to win the hackathon. The prize: attendance at the Silicon valley comes to the UK event at 11 downing St. which was hosted by the former chancellor George Osbourne.
